My horse base mesh

Hey people, I have set myself a project to create some base meshes for an over the shoulder shooter style game to be later detailed in Zbrush or Mudbox. although i could of created the mesh in Zbrush or Mudbox, but i would like to learn this work flow of creating base meshes in Maya then detailing in Zbrush or Mudbox separately for this project. My games is set around the Mexican revolution so I have decided to create a horse base mesh as they were used a lot during the revolution. I will create variants of this mesh in Zbrush or Mudbox using soft select and re-scaling. I will also smooth out the harsh edges and give it a more rounded look, then add the hair.

First ever sculpting!!!

Ork head turntable

Hi people, this is the first ever thing I sculpted and then part painted using a mouse. I've spent about 4 hours on it. I think I will go back when I have time to tidy up the paintwork.

Ultramerine Rhino tank

Hi, my name is Michael Darwent and I am an undergraduate at Wirral Metropolitan College studying Illustration with Animation. I am extremely passionate about video games and aspire to be a 3D asset sculptor in the games industry. I have recently started to learn Maya and Mudbox and decided to make a Space Marine Rhino tank. I've still got a little bit to do to finish this, but here it is so far! to make the Ultramarine emblem I created a skull in Mudbox and imported it into Maya.
